peña
In-person rites—spaces of individual reflection and collective gathering where we connect, inspire and create, together. Each encounter is shaped by presence and remembering.
| Workshops & Retreats & Collabs & Privates
‘Peña’ means a tight-knit club or circle of people to share and
make community (and it’s also my last name)
From classes to retreats, from one-day workshops to individual sessions, we warm up through yoga and other movements, settle into meditations and stillness, and share brunch and nibbles. It is a space to turn the gaze inward, and let the hands participate in a collective weaving of clay making—a making that remembers itself.
Where leisure is welcomed as something serene and tranquil - rather than a collapse from: gone over the edge. for the ‘dolce far niente’.

CLAY FOR SURRENDER
‘
Do you feel the metamorphosis of the entire world?
The pain raising to the surfaces with the ocean tide.
Times to go within, within and within. To the darkest corners. To swim in the ugly waters. And perhaps to remain with an open heart. Not as a way to get over it or to ‘remove it’ but to transform, and become again with wholeness. To let the experience shape us. And let the tide come back with new waters. May with A heart open is the way through. There is where compassion and wisdom inhabits. COURage. The softness to listen and the strength to follow. May be a dance.
As a wave that smashes you. The fight to get out is more painful than the surrender. To listen the waters, maybe let them carry us. May blame be over. To hold hands with power. And care for it.
‘Death is a call of love’ to return to the origins. To return to Love.

A REVERENCE TO TEA & CLAY
A REVERENCE TO TEA & CLAY
Holding the bowl, drinking the tea, shaping the clay—each action resonates with something greater. Our hands recreate the sacred cycle of creation. In every action, we hold the universe. In every gesture, repeated with love, we are remembering. We are coming home.
